The complete rise of the beast ushers in a time when the antichrist will take center place on the world stage.   And the powers of darkness will be unleashed upon humankind, on an unprecedented scale. The apostle John tells of the vision God showed him of a great beast rising from the sea.   “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw A BEAST rise up out of the sea, and all the world wondered after the beast. and they worshipped the beast, And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life” Rev 13:1-9.  

Not only does the Bible tell us of the beast rising from the sea,  but it also tells us what the sea in this case represents. According to the Bible the sea from which the beast rises is not a body of water,  but rather, John tells us this is the sea of humanity.   As it was explained to John,   “The waters, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues”.    Rev 17:15.

A GATHERING OF THE MINDS---  From this summation, we can conclude that the sea which gives rise to the beast is in reality, collectively, US.   Thus John was shown a vision where the mass of humanity was acting in unison and endorsing the agenda of the beast. In order for the beast to be given full rise, several key events must take place  (even as they are in our lifetime).  Compare:
 

1. This will be a time when many will fall away from their faith: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first,” 2nd Thess 2:3.

2. A time when most of society will totally reject God, and the launching of an all out attack against the believers. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God,  And it was given unto him to make war with the believers, Rev 13:6-7

3. False religions and messiahs will abound. "And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.  Matt 24:11.

4. The level of man’s violence, perversion and wickedness will mirror that of the times of Noah and Lot, (Sodom and Gomorrah). And as it was in the days of Noah, and Lot so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man." (Luke 17:26, 28)

5. There will be a dramatic increase in knowledge and technology. "But you, Daniel,  shut up the words, and seal the book  UNTIL the time of the end  many shall run to and fro and knowledge shall increase. Dan 12:4.

According to biblical prophecy, the days leading up to the end of the world as we know it, will be some of the most perilous and dangerous times mankind has ever witnessed. This will be the results of both natural disasters, and the dramatic increase in wickedness on the part of society at large.

 And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation Daniel 12:1.   Christ  outlined a number of things which will be taking place in the last days, as the beast is given rise.  To which He further added,  "When these things begin to come to pass,   then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."    Lk 21:28.

According to biblical prophecy, what will greatly aide the beast to rise, will be a falling away, from the faith,  on the part of many believers. “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first,”   2nd Thess 2:3-4.


 

There will be (is now) a total rejection of God and His guidelines:  So much so that many today are finding fault with God.  Sadly (for us), many in our society have now reached the place where they are shaking their fist at God, (and in some cases giving Him the finger), as they defiantly shout at Him,  “We don’t want you or your guidelines interfering with our lives.”  Thus the beast is being given rise.

The Bible warns that as the beast is given rise, there will be an all out attack, on tjose who stand on sound biblical doctrines.   There will be, and now is, all manner of outlandish accusations being leveled at God and those of us who seek to obey Him.   There is now an all out attack on the believers: Regardless of  their denominational affiliation.

To seek to align one’s self with the Bible, when it comes to our conduct, character and state of being, now comes at a great  price.   And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God,  And it was given unto him to make war with the believers, Rev 13:6-7.

Thousands of years ago, God showed the apostle Paul a prophetical vision of the end times, (our time) in which God revealed to Paul, that the end times would be  evil, stressful, violent and dangerous.  Paul describes the mindset of the end time  terminal generation  as being, “haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things” Rom 1:30

Paul noted that what makes these times so evil, stressful, violent and dangerous would stem from how people will CHOOSE to be.

Each of us must decide if we are a part of the beast rising. To know the truth we must prayerfully seek God and read the Bible for ourselves.  When the Bible describes how people will be, (now are) as the beast is given rise, we must be careful to not be a a part of the following. 

“For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  Without natural affection, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:  ”   2nd Tim 3:1-13.”    COMPARE BELOW

“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw A BEAST rise up out of the sea, and all the world wondered after the beast.   And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life” Rev 13:1-9.  

When we speak of the beast rising, we should keep in mind, that the Bible describes several types of beastly manifestations.   First in the book of Daniel we are told of four great beat, which are associated with the great image God showed Daniel.   Secondly In the book of Revelations we are told of two beast.    One beast rises from the sea, and the other beast rises from the earth.  

Revelation 13 describes these two beasts that will rise up and impact the entirety of humanity on an unprecedented scale.  In the book of Daniel, the four beast he describes, represents the four world powers that dealt with Israel and in varying degrees ruled over her.   Whereas the beast of Rev 13, has an agenda, which is to extract worship and  declare all out war on the believers.  The beast of Rev 13, exerts much energy, in an effort to eradicate all things godly.  
 As John tells us,  “ And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle.  And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them”  Rev 13:5-7.

Closely associated with the rising of the end time beast, is the entrance of the antichrist on the world stage.  

God is amazing.  He knows everything.  He knows the past because He was there.  He knows the present because He is here. And He knows the future, because He is already there, waiting for us to show up. “for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning,”  Isaiah 46.

God showed the prophets of old a world where the beast rising would be greatly facilitated by a dramatic increase in knowledge and technology. We can be sure that these prophets, who were living in an age where the fastest modes of transportation were sail ships, horses and carts, were amazed at the futuristic visions they saw.

. “But you, Daniel,  shut up the words, and seal the book  UNTIL the time of the “many shall run to and fro and knowledge shall increase” Dan 12:4.  Only a God who knows the future could reveal these things thousands of years in advance.  Compare, “THE BEAST RISING”

He obtains worldly exposure & conquest.. And all the world wondered after the beast.  And  they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?  And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things. Rev 13  

The Beast, disrespects and mocks God and attacks the believers, (especially via the electronic media). And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven..  And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. Rev 13.

He calls call down fire from the sky.  And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast.

He obtains worldwide economic domination, via a numerical system.  And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.  Rev 13.

He has the means by which to bring about  worldwide annihilation.  It is in  light of us understanding the impact of this technology, that we now understand these words of Christ. ”For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved:   Matt 24;21-22

Many who claim to be societal repair experts, tell us that they have the solution to undo the chaos, evil and violence that has saturated our society.  They tell us that what is needed is better educational and employment opportunities, and a platform where there can be proper dialogue among people from every class and walk of life.   We can be sure that a loving God would agree with the right of all to have better educational and employment opportunities, and the importance of having a platform where there can be proper dialogue.  

 

God loves us and He gives us the real  solution for the perilous times we now live in.  “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”  2nd Chrn 7:14.
