THE BIBLE IS GOD'S TIME CLOCK (COMPARE BELOW)

 |
God loves us, it is not his will for any of us to be lost. He has placed in his word, the Holy Bible, a clock by which we can tell what time it is. The Bible is so accurate that it can tell us what time it is, all the way up to the final few ticks, of the clock. Wickedness and sinfulness is dramatically increasing, on every level of our society, be it, in the home, in our government, and even in the church. The Bible tells us that the end of the world and the return of Christ will not take place until, many who had once trusted God, and sought to at least honor his basic moral guidelines, fall away from this mindset. 2 Thess. 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. Satan is once again being loosed on the earth!! The telltale signs are the flood of filth, profanity, perversion, internet porn, adultery, homosexuality, shacking up, disrespectful young people, arrogance, religiously deceived individuals and open hostility toward all that is godly. We are witnessing the ushering in; once again of the days of Noah, where the sinfulness of mankind reached such a wicked level, that God sent the flood. Before our very eyes, we are seeing, everything God established in the beginning, such as the distinction between male and female, the sanctity of marriage, family guidelines, being dismantled. While in earth, Jesus predicted that Jerusalem would be occupied by Gentiles, and the Jews scattered all over the world, until the time of the end. About forty years later, In 70 AD Jerusalem was destroyed and the Jews were scattered, they were cast out of their homeland, just as Christ had predicted. Christ said in the end times the Jews would be allowed to return to Israel, and the time of the Gentiles would come to a close. 24And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Lk 21:25. In 1948 Israel became a nation once again, and many of the Jews began to return back home, thus this was the fulfillment of the words of Christ. We are told that the ending of the time of the Gentiles, would be a time when Satan would be loosed to gather the Gentiles against God's church and the nation of Israel. The signs that this is occurring would be a dramatic increase in sinfulness, as many of the Gentiles who once believed and sought to honor God, will fall away from the things of God. Today this is taking place. The Jews are back in Israel, and many of the Gentiles who once trusted God, and reflected this trust and respect, in their homes, government, and churches are now rebelling. 7And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8And shall go out to deceive the nations (Gentiles) which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city (Jerusalem): and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Rev 20:7-10. Jesus said that mankind's wickedness would prevail, to the point that it would bring about the day of wrath and final judgment. Those of us who still trust God are encouraged to be steadfast in our faith until death. 17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. 2nd Pet 3:17. Jesus tells us, that just before the world ends, the conduct and attitudes of most men will once again be like it was during two very wicked periods, the times of Noah and Lot. "And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 "They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 "Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 "but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 "Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. Luke 17:26-30. We now see a spirit of rebellion on the part of many people, and a dismantling of godly principles within the home, the church, and the state. Our culture's acceleration into moral degeneracy is dizzying. Every day's news introduces yet greater and more dramatic shamelessness, debauchery, perversion, and foolishness. Rebellion against God, truth, goodness, and holiness is becoming outspoken and rampant. The Same Bible which tells of the binding of Satan also tells us that he will once again be loosed on the earth, once again plunging the world into paganism and demon worship.
WHEN CHRIST CAME HE TELLS US HE BOUND SATAN UP |

 |
Through his work on the cross and his resurrection, Christ is the one who bound Satan (the strong man) and took his possessions: which were the souls of men. After Satan was bound, the good news of the gospel was preached. In spite of great persecution, it was effectively preached to many of the pagan nations. It does not mean that the power of Satan was destroyed entirely; it simply meant that Satan's power to rule over the races of men, as he had in the past, was now greatly limited. He was still like a vicious animal, who attacked the Church ferociously, but his power was chained. While Satan was thus bound, he could not enforce the rule he once had over the peoples of the earth. So, in a spiritual way, In my opinion it has been during this time frame that Satan has been bound (the thousand years binding). This "binding of Satan" restrained him from destroying the work of the Church, which was then able to establish the spiritual Kingdom of Christ on earth, in the hearts of men. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. Rev 20:2-3. In an article written by Bruno Kolberg, he states, " It is commonly taught that after the Lord's return, Satan will be bound for a set period to prevent him from doing any evil deeds whatsoever. However, when we allow the Bible to interpret its own terms, we find that the notion of binding the Devil identifies with salvation. For instance, in Matthew 12, Jesus discussed His power to heal people and to cast out evil spirits. Observe His comments regarding the binding of the strong man: But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself . . . But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. (Mt 12:24-29) Jesus told the Pharisees that His miracles proved two things. First that the kingdom of God had arrived through Him, as evidenced by His exorcising of demons. Second, that He was able to bind the strong man, Satan. Otherwise, Jesus argued, how could these miracles be performed in Satan's own territory unless he had been bound (or restrained) to ensure their success? But Jesus' statement also reveals a deeper Gospel truth. Throughout the Old Testament era, Satan - the strong man - ruled with great authority, as evidenced by virtually the whole world remaining in unbelief. However, Jesus said that the strong man's house would be plundered of its goods. Satan's house is the world, and the goods within it are the unsaved souls in captivity to him. As Isaiah 49:24-25 anticipated, the Lord would act to set those captives free: Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But so says the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the fearful ones shall escape. For I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your sons. [MKJV] Jesus also taught about the strong man in Luke 11: When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. (vv. 21-23) Similar to the Matthew 12 analogy, Jesus here depicts Satan's powerful Old Testament rule through the imagery of an armed, strong man in a secure palace full of valuable goods. However, those goods were destined to be plundered and the spoils divided, meaning that God was going to free people from Satan's grasp. First, however, someone stronger than Satan had to defeat him. This was Jesus. By paying for our sins at the cross, He overcame Satan and received authority to plunder his kingdom. So, the binding of the strong man is a spiritual restraining that refers to Satan's inability to stop God's salvation plan.

As we know that when Christ was being tempted in the wilderness, Satan offered Christ the glory of this world, if he would worship him. Satan's ability to bestow the glory of this world upon another, has been limited, but we are told, that Satan will bestow this upon the one called the "beast". The loosing of the beast upon mankind, is be perpetuated, by man's rejection of the truths of God, and their embracing of the lies of Satan. In the original language, Gog means: "under the roof". Magog means "out from under the roof". Gog refers to Satan as he is captive, bound, kept as it were: under a roof. Magog refers to Satan being unloosed. As Magog, he bursts forth from where he had been bound, under the roof. The scriptural references to Gog and Magog symbolize the full fury of Satan unchained: the unleashing of the spirit of antichrist and rebellion. Thus in these last days, Satan is once again being loosed, to gather the nations of the world in rebellion against God. *Some will disagree, they say that Satan is not about to be loosed, but he is about to be bound. The problem with this train of thought, is that all the wickedness and perversion which is supposed to take after the 1000 years is happeneing now. As more and more people in the world join the rebellion against the once accepted things of God, there is now a major shift toward downgrading and degrading, Christian teachings in favor of upgrading the philosophies of those who oppose God. The world has grown so far away from the principles of the Bible in recent years that the Bible is now viewed with hostility and contempt and is considered by many to be, "hate literature, or nothing more than a antique.
